Man arrested with narcotics in Faridabad

The Faribadad Police today arrested a man and claimed to have recovered 400 gms of cannabis from Bharat Colony area here.

Acting on a tip-off, the accused identified as Pinku was intercepted by police last night when he was coming to Bharat Colony. On being frisked, 400 grams of ganja was seized from his possession, a police spokesperson said.

He said that the accused has been arrested and a case under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against him.
