Man arrested with suspicious substance

One person was arrested today for being in possession of a suspicious substance, which police said was an intoxicant.

SP Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh said that the accused, identified as one Mandip Singh, was apprehended with 100-gm of the alleged contraband during a routine check here.

He was booked under various sections of the narcotics Act, Khakh added.
