Man beaten to death

The police said Sk Rahaman Ali was beaten to death by some miscreants at Shrikol village this noon.

Claiming Ali to be a party supporter, CPI-M Howrah district committee secretary Biplab Majumdar said that Ali was killed by goons backed by Trinamool Congress for protesting against corruption in 100-day work under MNREGA.
