Man booked for construction in prohibited zone around IAF site

A man was today booked for allegedly carrying out construction in prohibited zone around an Air Force site, in violation of a court order.

A case was registered against Mahendra of Dabua Colony, following a complaint by Mamta Tripathi, wing commander -cum-chief administrative officer of the Air Force station, a police spokesperson said.

Construction activities are banned within 100 metres of the Air Force station as per a court order, the spokesperson added.
