Man booked for cutting down trees in Aravali area

A man has been booked for illegally felling down over half a dozen trees in the eco-sensitive Aravali range area here, police said today.

A complaint was registered by Section Officer of forest department yesterday that in the restricted Manger area of Aravali hills, Raj Singh, a resident of Dera Fatehpur, was illegally cutting down trees, a police spokesperson said.

Investigations are underway, police said.
