Man caught with 650 gram charas in Kullu

A man travelling in a Delhi-bound private bus was arrested in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh after nearly 650 grams charas was found in his possession, police said Sunday.

Accused Hitesh Singh, resident of Faridabad in Haryana, was arrested Saturday during a routine check in the Bhuntar police station area in Kullu, they said.

A case has been registered against him under section 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, officials said.
