A 55-year-old man has committed suicide after killing his 50-year-old wife and 18-year-old daughter at Sirka village in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district, a police official said here.
The district superintendent of Police V Vijayalakshmi said that the man, a black smith by profession had on on Sunday night killed his wife and daughter with a heavy iron hummer and later hanged self from the ceiling fan in his home.
The police recovered the three bodies this morning and sent them for autopsy, she said.
The couple quarrelled often and the woman had gone to her parental home for a month. She had returned recently, the SP added.
