A 25-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at the famous Swami Narayan Seva Ashram at Mahalakshmi in south Mumbai this afternoon.
Nirajkumar Yadav, who was staying on the 14th floor room of the ashram hanged himself using a shawl from the ceiling fan, police said.
The reason behind the suicide in yet to ascertained, they said.
An Accidental Death Report (ADR) has been registered with Gamdevi police station and probe is on, the official said.
