Man commits suicide in northwest Delhi

A 37-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Sindhi Colony in northwest Delhi's Swaroop Nagar, the police said today.

The deceased, Deepak, worked in a footwear godown in Narela, they added.

The incident took place around 10:30 pm yesterday.

According to the police, financial issue could be a reason that forced Deepak to take such an extreme step. However, no suicide note has been recovered.

He is survived by his wife and a child.
