An anonymous devotee has donated one kg of gold worth over Rs 30 lakh to famous Ambaji temple in Gujarat.
The devotee hailed from Rajasthan and wanted to remain anonymous, said an official of Shree Ashapuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust.
"A project to gold plate Ambaji temple's spire is currently on and about 80 kgs of gold is needed for the purpose. The Trust has received 44 kgs of gold in donation in the last two years," he said.
