Man dies after wild bear attacks him

A 48-year-old man died after he was attacked by a wild bear at Baunsagadia near Chhatrapur town in Ganjam district early today, police said.

Khallia Behera was going to a farm house when the bear attacked him, said divisional forest officer (DFO) Berhampur S S Mishra.

Forest officials from Berhampur have rushed to the spot, Mishra said.
