A 50-year-old man allegedly committed suicide in Shamli district over a tiff with his daughter-in-law, police said today.
Rajender Kumar hanged himself from ceiling fan at his house yesterday, they said.
According to police, the victim took the extreme step after his daughter-in-law refused to return to her husband's house.
The woman was living with her parents, they said.
The body has been sent for postmortem, police added.
