A 30-year-old man was found dead inside his bakery in West Delhi's Sultanpuri area here today with police suspecting to be a case of murder-robbery.

Mohammad Aashiq, who ran a bakery in Hari Enclave area in Sultanpuri, was found lying in a pool of blood in his bakery at around 7:15 AM, police said.

"He was rushed to Sanjay Gandhi hospital where he was declared brought dead. The family of the victim is claiming that the workers in the bakery are missing and the money vault in the shop is also empty," said a police official.

It seems that the incident took place at night.

The attackers hit Aashiq on his head with some blunt object that led to his death. He may have been killed by his own workers who decamped with the money kept in the bakery. Investigations in the case are on, police said.
