Man found dead with bullet injuries

A man was today found dead with bullet injuries in his chest in Pattan area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district, police said.

Bullet-riddled body of Zakir Hussain Badoo was recovered on the outskirts of his Mehmoodpora village in Pattan area, 30 kms from here, on Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway this morning, a police spokesman said.

"The body has gunshot wounds in the chest.Post-mortem of the deceased is being conducted," the spokesman said.

He said police have registered a case in this regard and started investigations to identify and arrest the culprits behind the murder of Badoo.
