Man gets life imprisonment for raping six-year-old

A man has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court for raping a minor.

Special Judge Shashi Bhushan Pandey held the accused, Nagraj, guilty of rape yesterday.

The court also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on him.

In Septemer 2012, Nagraj raped a six-year-old girl in Awagarh area when she had gone to a shop, the prosecution said.
