Man gets seven-year jail term for raping minor

A man was sentenced to seven years of rigorous imprisonment by a Pauri district court for raping a minor seven years ago.
Pauri District and Sessions court sentenced Surendra Singh to seven years' rigorous imprisonment after he pleaded guilty for raping a minor girl of his village in 2010.
54-year-old Singh had raped the minor and threatened to kill her if she protested, they said.
