A local court today sentenced a man to seven years of imprisonment for raping his neighbour in 2012.
The court also slapped a fine of Rs 1,500 today for the rape of his married neighbour.
The sentence was awarded by Additional Session Judge PD Sharma against Sunil (30) under IPC's 376 and other relevant sections.
According to Additional Public Prosecutor (APP) Vimal Mishra, Sunil had raped the woman on March 28, 2012, by forcibly entering into her residence and also manhandled her.
