Man guns down sister-in-law's boyfriend

A man today shot dead a youth in his sleep early today at Golmuri area here for having an affair with his sister-in-law despite his objection to the relation, the police said.

Rajan Thatera, who allegedly shot Ranjan Singh in the head at Tuiladungri locality at around 3.30 AM, has been arrested after a few hours and a country-made pistol was seized from him.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Amol V Homkar said the victim was having affair with the sister-in-law of Thatera, who had objected to it and earlier threatened Singh with dire consequence if he did not break the relationship.
