Man hacked to death by neighbour

A 52-year-old man was today hacked to death allegedly by his neighbour over some dispute in Mirzapur district near here, police said.

The victim identified as Rama Prajapati was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon in Pandari area, police said.

However, Prajapati's son Rajesh Kumar has alleged neighbour Bhanu's involvement in the murder due to some old dispute between Bhanu and his father, police said.

Based on his complaint, an FIR has been lodged against Bhanu and efforts are on to arrest him, they said.
