Man hacks father to death over petty issue

A man today killed his 52-year-old father using a sharp-edged weapon allegedly over a petty issue in Dataganj area of the district, police said.

Digvijay Singh (52) was hacked to death by his son Satyaveer alias Sannu at Navadia Sabalpur village, Additional Superintendent of Police Maan Singh said.

"A case has been lodged against Sannu, who has been absconding after the incident," he said.
