Man held for molesting daughter

A father was arrested here today for allegedly molesting his 17-year-old daughter for over a month, police said.

The victim, who lived with her parents on the outskirts of Panaji, lodged a complaint with police that her father would often touch her inappropriately and this went on for over a month, police said.

Police said the accused, a daily wage worker, was later produced in a local court that sent him to one day judicial custody.
