A 36-year-old man was today arrested for allegedly killing his woman employer by hurling a 75-kg rice bag at her, police said.
A probe revealed that Balagurunathan was miffed at K Devi (55), a rice trader at Villivakkam, for scolding him often. He allegedly hurled the rice bag at her after snapping the CCTV connection in the shop, where she was found dead on April 4.
He has been remanded in judicial custody, a police release said.
