Man held for travelling with fake passport

Travelling with a fake passport landed a 42-year-old man in the police net when he arrived at the international airport here from Malaysia today.

Police said immigration officials detected it while examining the travel documents of Periyasamy of Namachivayapuram in Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu.

They said the man already had a passport in the name of Ganeshan of Nagapattinam district.

He was handed over to the local police who arrested him, they said.
