Man held with 15 live bullets at Mangalore airport

A passenger was apprehended by the CISF today for allegedly carrying 15 live bullets at the Mangalore airport in poll-bound Karnataka, a senior official said.

Fifteen live rounds of 0.32mm were seized from the baggage of P Ismail, a resident of Dakshina Kannada district, during the security check, the official said.

Ismail was handed over to the police since he could not produce any documents for carrying the ammunition, he added.

The man was supposed to take a flight to Nagpur.
