Man held with 'bomb-like' device at Inod-Nepal border

One person was arrested by personnel of Shastra Seema Bal (SSB) with an electronic device looking like a bomb near the Indo-Nepal border at Rupaidiha here, police said today.

Sayed Ali was arrested yesterday while he was going to Nepal allegedly to hand it over to one Rajesh Chowdhury in Nepal, Rupaidiha police station in-charge Angil Yadav said.

He said probe is on in the matter and experts are trying to ascertain what is there in the object.
