Man imprisoned for selling adulterated milk

A milk seller has been sentenced to six months imprisonment by a court here for selling adulterated milk in 2002.

The convict, Rajendra Singh, was also slapped with a fine of Rs 1000 by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Chandrpal yesterday.

Singh, who hails from Chirawali village, was selling milk in Borrakalan village on December 31, 2002 when a sample was taken for testing.

The sample was found to be adulterated.
