Man injured after being hit by shooting stone in Ramban

A man was seriously injured when he was hit by a shooting stone in the Banihal area of the Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir today, a police officer said.

The stone hit Fared Ahmed on the head while he was cutting grass in the Halimaidaan village, he said.

Ahmed was shifted to the Banihal hospital from where he was later shifted to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura, Srinagar, he said.
