In a freak incident, a 45-year-old man today died and 15 were injured after they were attacked by a swarm of bees during a funeral service in Rajasthan's Baran district.
The incident took place in Kaloni village when the last rites of one Janki Lal Mehta were being performed.
Mehta's grandson Nandkishore (45) sustained severe sting injuries. He was taken to a hospital where he later died, police said.
At least 15 others were injured in the bee attack and are undergoing treatment at the hospital, they said.
