A 60-year-old man was beaten to death and four of his family members were injured allegedly by robbers who barged into their home in Ujhani area here and looted valuables.
At least four men armed with sticks entered the home of Bhudev Yadav last night and severely beat up inmates who offered resistance and fled with cash and valuables in the house, police said.
The injured were admitted to a hospital where Dharampal (60), brother of Yadav, succumbed to injuries, police said adding that a case has been registered and investigation was on.
