Man killed after car rams cart

A 45-year-old man sleeping on a cart was killed in the early hours today after a car rammed it following which the driver was arrested, the police said.

The incident occured between 3 am and 3.30 am. Sumit, 35, a taxi driver, after hitting the cart fled the spot, but was later arrested, they said.

The victim, who is yet to be identified, died on the spot, the police said.
