Man killed in lightning

A 38-year-old shepherd

electrocuted after he was struck by lightning in field in the district today, police said.

Gunupuru Srinivasa Rao was grazing his cattle in the farm on the outskirts of Tungatampara village when thundershowers lashed the area.

Rao was killed when he was struck by the bolt, police said.
