Man killed in Pratapgarh over property dispute
A 32-year-old man was allegedly shot dead by some unidentified persons in Pure Dinanath village in Lalganj area here, police said Thursday.
The incident took place Wednesday night when Shivshankar was shot at his home.
"The killing might be the outcome of an ongoing property dispute in the family," Circle officer Lalganj OP Dwivedi said.
Shankar was rushed to a hospital nearby where he died during the treatment. His body has been send for postmortem, police said.
Police are yet to register an FIR in the case.
