Man killed in road mishap in Saharanpur

A 25-year-old man was killed after an unidentified vehicle hit his motorcycle in Biharigarh police station area on Delhi-Dehradun National Highway here, police said today.

The victim identified as Kishore Saini was today on his way to Dehradun on his motorcycle when an unidentified vehicle hit it near Doon college and he died on the spot, Additional Superintendent of Police Jagdish Sharma said.

The body has been sent for postmortem, Sharma said.

In a separate incident, body of a man was found in an agriculture field in Kachrai village in Nanauta police station area here, the ASP said.

The deceased, aged around 30 years, could not be identified, he said, adding that it is being suspected that he was asphyxiated.
