Man killed over property-related dispute

A 35-year-old man was killed and his body set on fire allegedly by seven persons over a property-related dispute in Mahoba district, police said today.

Nripat Singh was killed yesterday in Rajpura village of Ajnair area and, in a bid to destroy the evidence, his body was burnt.

Police spokesman said that on the complaint of Singh's wife, an FIR was registered against seven persons.

Police have recovered charred remains of the body from the spot.
