Man kills father for property

An elderly man was stabbed to death allegedly by his son over a property dispute in Phoolbehar area, police said here today.

Tahauvvar Khan (70) was murdered by Athar in Sunderval village late last night.

Athar, who has been arrested, feared that his father would transfer the property in the name of his brother and decided to murder him, police said.

He said the victim's younger son returned home this morning and found his father dead.
