A man allegedly killed his mother and brother today over a property dispute before committing suicide himself, police said.
In the incident which took place at Dhanpur village in the Mitauli area, one Sandip (40) first shot his mother Pushpa Devi (70) and his elder brother Sanjay Kumar (45) before turning the gun onto himself.
While Pushpa and Sanjay breathed their last at a local hospital where they were admitted after being shot, Sandip died on the spot.
A property dispute between the two brothers is stated to be the trigger behind the incident.
