Man kills mother over property

A 60-year-old woman was battered to death allegedly by her son over a family dispute in Shivdaspura town of the district, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday and the accused, Jagdish Bairwa, 30, was arrested this morning, said in-charge of Shivdaspura police station.

Bairwa had fled from the house after hitting his mother with rod in presence of his wife and two kids, the officer said.
