A 29-year-old-year man allegedly killed his wife and daughter in Gurikayalanka village of the district, police said today.
As per initial investigation, Uppala Sivaramakrishna yesterday killed his wife - Uppala Lakshi Tirupatamma (24) and daughter Uppala Nagasari, using a knife, Nagaram Sub-Inspector Ashokkumar said.
A case under relevant section of IPC was registered and the accused has been arrested, the officer said.
He had buried Nagasari's body behind the house but had not buried his wife's body which was found inside the house, he added.
Prima facie, family dispute is the reason behind the killing, police said, adding investigations are underway.
