Man kills wife, swallows poison, dies

A man allegedly killed his wife over some family dispute and then committed suicide by swallowing poison in a village here, police said today.

Chuttan, aged 44, allegedly strangulated his wife over some domestic dispute in Bahjoi area in Mirzapur village last night, they said.

Later, he snuffed out his life swallowing some poisonous substance, police said.
