Man missing for 2 days found dead

The police today recovered the body of a 24-year-old man, who was missing for the past two days, from a canal in the Sakatpura area here.

Mayank Sharma, a resident of Jungalat Gate, went missing on Friday night following which his family members lodged a complaint at the Kunhari police station, Sub-Inspector Yogesh Sharma said.

It seems to be a case of suicide. The matter is being investigated, he said, adding that the body was handed over to the family after post-mortem.

Sharma used to work as a computer data operator at a city-based coaching institute, the officer said.
