One person has been arrested for possessing over 25 kg of Pseudo-Ephedrine, a controlled substance in India, Narcotics Control Bureau officials said.
Acting on a tip off, NCB sleuths arrested Mugamath Mannan alias Mannan here yesterday and seized 25 kg of Pseudo-Ephedrine, used in the preparation of stimulant drug Methamphetamine, worth about Rs one crore in the illegal market, NCB South Zone Director Prem Anand Sinha said.
Mannan was booked under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and remanded to judicial custody, he said.
