A man has been booked for allegedly raping his stepdaughter and attacking his wife who protested against it in Kosi Kalan town here, police said today.
The woman, who married the accused a few years ago, told police that her husband raped her 18-year-old daughter from her first marriage.
She alleged that her husband attacked her with a sharp- edged weapon when she confronted him on Wednesday, the police said.
The woman is undergoing treatment at a hospital. Her daughter has been sent for medical examination, they said, adding an FIR has been registered against the accused.
