Man robbed of Rs five lakh

A man was today robbed of Rs five

lakh cash by unidentified criminals from near a bank under the Civil Lines police station area in Bihar's Gaya district, police sources said.

The man, Bhubaneshwar Kumar, was on his way to the Registry Office after withdrawing the cash from the bank when motorcycle-borne criminals intercepted him near the Magadh Cooperative Bank premises and snatched the bag containing the cash, sources said.

A case has been registered in this connection and raids were on to nab the culprits, they said.
