Man's charred body found, murder suspected

The charred body of a 40-year-old man was found in a forested area of South-East Delhi's Tughlaqabad today.

Police are suspecting it to be a case of murder, but neither the suspects nor the motive behind the crime have been established yet, a senior official said.

The deceased has been identified as Surajbhan, a resident of Tughlaqabad, the official added.

The body was spotted by a passerby who informed the police.

Police are questioning Surajbhan's wife, with whom he had three children, the official said, adding a case of murder has been registered.
