Man sent to seven years in prison for raping minor

Mahkar, a resident of Vijaynagar, was jailed for abducting and raping a minor in July 2009.

The girl was rescued five days later by police after which she accused Mahkar of rape. A medical report has confirmed rape.

The court also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on the accused.
