Man sentenced to ten years RI for raping minor

A 23-year-old man has been sentenced to ten years rigorous imprisonment by a local court for raping a minor girl.

The prosecution case was that Suresh had lured the eight-year-old girl, his neighbour, on the pretext of buying sweets, to a burial ground and sexually molested her on July 3, 2011.

Additional Sessions judge Sarvamangala pronounced the judgement yesterday.
