Man shot dead by brother in UP

A 30-year-old man was shot dead allegedly by his elder brother over some dispute at Ahmadgarh village of the district today, police said.

Sardar Gurjit Singh died on the spot after his brother Bittu shot him following an altercation between them at Singh's house under Jhinjhana police station, they said.

The accused is absconding, police said, adding, further investigation is on.

According to villagers, they allegedly had a spat over Singh's illicit relations with Bittu's wife.
