Man shot dead in crowded market in Lucknow

A 45-year-old man was today shot dead in a crowded market in Aminabad area here, police said.

Shyam Narain Pandey alias Pappu was shot dead by two persons when he was standing in front of a shop in Aminabad market this afternoon, they said.

Police have arrested a person, Romesh Sharma, allegedly involved in the incident, a police officer said, adding further investigations were on.
