Man stabbed to death by elder brother's friend

A 24-year-old man was stabbed to death by some persons in northwest Delhi's Ashok Vihar area after they allegedly had a drunken brawl with the victim's elder brother, police said today.

Sunil Donga, was killed around 1.30 am on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. Earlier in the night, the accused, Neeraj, Vicky, Azad and Dinesh, had a drunken brawl with the victim's elder brother Subhash, a street vendor, who was their friend, said Vijay Singh, DCP (Northwest).

Later they went to Subhash's house with an intention to kill him. But on finding Sunil there, Azad stabbed him 10 times and also hit him with a stone. The victim was rushed to LNJP Hospital where he succumbed to injuries, the officer said.
 

Neeraj has been arrested but the other accused are still absconding, he added.
