Man suffers burn injuries in acid attack

A 25-year-old man suffered serious burn injuries after an unidentified person threw acid on him in Sirsi township area here, police said today.

Mohammed Abbas was returning home late last night when the accused threw acid on him near Moti Masjid, they said.

Abbas has been admitted to a hospital in Moradabad, police said.

A case has been registered in this regard, they added.
